We are a consolidated team that has been working together since the opening and have always felt a strong responsibility for the Hotel and everybody in it, both staff and guests.
We form a group that cares for the detection, prevention and control of any COVID-19 symptom that may arise at our environment.
Our cleaning team has been instructed and will be adapting to regulations while continue learning and training to improve their cleaning techniques. Some of them even have hospital cleaning experience and have contributed on improving Carles Hotel’s hygiene processes.
Being a Boutique Hotel with few number of public service areas and rooms per floor (only 4) becomes and advantage to avoid intense flow of people and it makes it easier and faster to sanitize everything.
Moreover, having limited services besides accommodation, means we don’t receive clients who are not Hotel guests which contributes to even less crowds.
Additional Implemented Measures
•New personal care and safety equipment for staff for their health and other’s;
•Sanitizer dispenser in all public areas;
•Social distancing is respected within the Hotel, restraining the amount of people using the elevator and limiting the time spent in public areas like Lobby and Breakfast Area;
•Body temperature is controlled to everyone entering the Hotel;
•Breakfast is a la carte and with prior reservation, and with a 30-minutes limit of stay in the area. We can also serve breakfast in your room without any extra fee;
•More frequent cleaning and disinfecting routines are implemented with strict monitoring;
•Express Check-in and Check-out to avoid crowds in the lobby;
•Rooms are cleaned with the appropriate products for complete disinfection and elimination of virus and bacteria according to recommendations of international health organizations;
•After a guest’s Check-out, each room remains unoccupied for 48 hs.
